Trevor Romano is a 2027 2B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Small frame. Primary middle infielder, he moves with bounce in his actions. Quality arm strength for the age, mostly accurate. Gets in good fielding position and keeps his feet underneath him as he works through the fielding point. Fits best at second as listed but has the arm strength for shortstop as well. Athleticism stands out. Right-handed hitter, even base and slightly open stance. Hands load the barrel to an upright launch. Path works downhill into the zone then gets through impact with level length. On the barrel a good bit when synced up and out front. Turns the lower half hard to generate a portion of the strength. Creates leveraged line drive impacts. Outstanding student.
