Johnny Parris is a 2029 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from South Park, PA who attends South Park. Tall and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium and slight open stance with a low hand load and leg raise timer, line drive swing path with an up the middle line drive approach, swings hard and has some bat speed, solid contact when he got timed up, projects well as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, shows his glove early and fields the ball cleanly out front, step to step actions laterally, threw from multiple slots well and has some young arm strength, projects as he improves his lower half athleticism. Also took a turn on the mound, works from a side step delivery with a leg tuck leg raise with a high 3/4's arm action, moves down the mound well with fluid actions. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some running life. Maintained his arm speed well on a 11/5 curveball with some depth and a fading change up. Good bet to keep improving on the mound as he matures physically. Good student.
