J.T. Snyder is a 2029 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Venetia, PA who attends Peters Twp. Long and lean high-waisted young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance, upper body driven swing, has quick hands and creates some barrel whip and bat speed, up the middle line drive contact and flashed some lift when he was timed up, projects plenty of power as he fills in and gets stronger. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, gets to his spots well and has some feel for adjusting his glove, longer arm action into a higher arm slot, long wind up into his throws and can quicken his release, made accurate throws with some young carry. Also worked out in the outfield, arm works well and has some projection and present carry, similar step by step actions into his release. Took a turn on the mound, works from a side step delivery with a medium leg raise start, moves down the mound well, long arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, can get into his lower half more. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with some running life. Still developing consistency on a soft 11/5 curveball. Good student.
