Trey Barker is a 2026 RHP/C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Liberty. Features an athletic build with some present strength. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield. Charges the ball hard with athleticism and sound fundamentals. Fields it out front and works through it well. Shows a quick exchange into an overhead slot. Reached 81 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base stance with a toe tap trigger. Swings on a lofted path with hand speed present. Has some impact pullside when in-sync. Maintaining path to contact will allow for more consistent barrel accuracy. Right-handed hitter. Throws exclusively out of the stretch with tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a medium length arm action. Fastball worked 77-80 mph. Was around the zone often and can get a slight downhill plane at times. Curveball at 67-70 with short, downward action. Will mixing in tumbling upper-60’s changeup at times. Kills spin well, showing spin rates down to 1015 rpm. Very good student.
