2025 PG California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Cole Andrus is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Ewa Beach, HI who attends Saint Louis HS. Featuring a strong, durable frame, the primary Left-Handed Pitcher started off the showcase running a 8.50 sixty yard dash. Andrus has a three-pitch mix on the mound that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. Fundamentally sound and athletic moving down the bump with a balanced, repeatable delivery. Fastball showed arm side run with ride, breaking ball is sharp with sweeping action and the changeup showed fade. Secondary outfielder, does a nice job fielding it out front and working through towards the target. Arm comes through easy with present arm speed, throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot with medium arm action. Has an even base at the plate with high hands, high back elbow and slightly opens stance. Takes a short stride to contact and tends to spin off the baseball leading to some mistimed barrels. Solid impact when balanced and timed up with gap strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
