Michael Langan is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Neuqua Valley. Large, athletic frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.11 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well on feet and takes sound angles to the ball, glove plays well to the forehand, quick release from a higher release point and pulls down well, shows ability to change slot, extra step into release, nice arm strength across the diamond, maintains balance on the charge. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, knee to chest leg lift, some drop and drive in lower half mechanics with a medium but quick length to arm path in back getting to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly true in life and worked in the zone well. 12-6 shape to curveball shorter action to it with continued refinement. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and spread stance in the box with a high hand set and back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Gathers weight onto backside, turns hard through the ball with present bat speed and impact strength at the point of contact. Works to the middle of field with comfort and shows a feel for the barrel, direct path overall, shows jump when squared, can get further extension out front in swing. Very good student.
