Simon Malcolm is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Dunlap, IL who attends Dunlap. Smaller wiry frame. In the infield, he moves well with quick efficient footwork. Shows feel for the angles and arm action needs for the middle of the diamond. Feet and arm action adjust well when working laterally. Arm strength isn't standout but fine for the level. Right-handed hitter, even base and slightly open stance. Starts with hands high and some waggle in the pre-pitch sequence. Utilizes a hanging leg lift with some negative shift. Hands work down to impact with middle of the field line drive oriented approach. On the hill, its a full windup with moderate kick and over the top release. Fastball plays true and was paired with a big 10-4 shaped breaking ball. Pitched to contact and got a bunch of outs. 7.25 60-yard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
