2023 Uncommitted Main Event Showcase (2024 Grads)
Dylan Demeza is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Brooksville, FL who attends Nature Coast Technical. Large frame with lanky, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits with exaggerated inside-out swing path, hands dive down and in at launch and take barrel on steep path, opposite field approach as a result, most contact in that direction. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well and fields it out front, lengthy arm stroke on the back side, clocked up to 78 mph on throws. Also got on the mound, high leg lift with good direction in stride, standard 3/4 slot release, lengthy arm stroke with some timing inconsistencies, head whack at release, fastball touched 78 mph and sat 70-74 mph, flashed slow breaker. Very good student.
