2023 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Shadrach Salazar is a 2024 OF with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Alpine, CA who attends Home school. Salazar works from a built athletic frame with strength proportioned nicely throughout. As a primary OF, he displayed active footwork and effectively got to spots with sound glove work to pair. He has some arm speed with carry behind throws at times up to 79 mph, with further room to slow down the mechanics and maintain balance throughout the process. Offensively, the righty utilized a high hand set displaying a direct swing path through the zone to create flashes of hard contact back up the middle. He has some strength in the hands with room to refine the barrel control, posting an exit velo of 82 mph. Ran a 7.47 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
