LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 13U/14U Sunshine Northeast Showcase
Liam Main is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Terryville, CT who attends Academy of Science and Innovation in New Britain. Compact, broader frame with plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 8.65 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a slightly side-saddled stance with a quick midline transfer and compact footwork out of the crouch. Works slightly uphill into release and gets rid of the ball quickly. Produced accurate throws up to 65 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates a slightly coiled leg lift into balance and shorter stride length out to foot strike. Strike thrower that repeats his delivery well, compact arm action and ran his fastball up to 69 mph in this look. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and development of secondary offerings. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly closed stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics, has developing bat-to-ball skills. Elongated swing path. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
