Reid Furstenberg is a 2029 RHP/2B/3B with a 5-9, 160 lb. frame from Pendleton, OR, who attends Pendleton High School. He is a 7.72 runner in the sixty. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher has an athletic frame with raw strength and works with a full windup and a quick tempo. He ran the fastball up to 84 mph with heavy arm-side run, and he paired it with a sharp slider at 2215 rpm that played as a true swing-and-miss pitch. He showed a changeup in warmups, adding to his three-pitch mix. Competes with confidence, shows advanced pitchability for his age, and carries huge projection moving forward. A high-upside arm with the tools to be a big-time prospect. In the infield, he moves with light, active feet and works through plays efficiently. He has clean glove actions, fields most balls softly, and throws accurately from multiple arm slots. He's quick and consistent on glove-side grounders and routine plays across the diamond. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has an even base with a toe-tap trigger. His hands start low and stay inside the ball through launch. He has a feel for the barrel with a consistent opposite-field approach, producing line drives and a couple of harder balls into the right-center gap. Maintains balance throughout the swing and has room to continue developing strength and barrel control. An athletic two-way prospect with projection on both sides of the ball and tools to develop into a high-level player. Named to the 14U PG Northwest All-State Games Top Prospect List.
