LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 Michigan Indoor Showcase
Ryan Petrovitch is a 2025 RHP/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends Dakota. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic build and good strength in the frame. Throws from the wind-up with a quick sidestep and leg raise above belt. Has a slow and controlled operation maintaining good balance to the plate and working in line well. Clean arm action with a ton of whip working downhill. Fastball ramped up to 87 with late ride through the zone. Could really locate the fastball well allowing his off-speed stuff to compliment it well. Went to a disgusting slider with heavy horizontal break and extremely high spins around the 2600 range. Could miss bats with all his pitches especially his fastball up in the zone. Also turned over a really good change with fade and depth. Lots of whiff produced off his stuff. Flashed a curve with more top to bottom shape 12-6 and good depth. Heavy downer action that played off the slider well as a good mix of shapes. Projects really well and should continue to get better. Named to the TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
