Sam Behrendt is a 2028 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Middletown, IN who attends Yorktown. Physically advanced frame for the class and age with both height and present size on the levers. Ran an 8.40 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, developing coordination overall behind the dish, set on the front side of the feet, slower stride out of the crouch that the arm path follows. Secondary right-handed pitcher, hands set high by his face, leg lift right above the belt to a high three-quarters slot release, sinks into backside down the slope, gets some life and ride to the fastball, some sink to the change-up as well made for a nice 1-2 punch in his assignment, some pitchability present here. Right-handed hitter, even stance with high hands, grooved, pronounced high back elbow, some carry to the pullside when extended and on the barrel, looks to lift it. Good size for the class and body projects, solid look on the mound with actions to like across the board.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
