Will Mettee is a 2027 OF/C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Versatile outfielder and catcher, developing balance behind the plate, jerky movements to the transfer and release with developing arm strength. Developing footwork in the outfield, low slot release and showed average arm strength from the outfield. Hit from an even base at the plate. Blend of strength and bat speed to the swing with developing ability to get balanced and on time. Compact quick swings with intent and developing feel for getting to the barrel consistently.
