Jacob Badilla is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Stocky, strong build with present strength and some projection left. Ran a 7.29 in the 60. Solid receiver behind the plate, working from a side-saddle setup with compact exchanges and shorter arm action. Arm strength topped at 76 mph with a best pop time of 2.08, showing downhill carry and accuracy to the bag with flashes of above-average on-hops. Right-handed hitter with an even stance and smaller lift, working uphill through contact with some length but showing bat speed and strength to drive the ball when timed. Produced loud contact including a deep drive to left field, with the ability to lift and create carry to all fields when squared. On the mound, worked from a three-quarters slot with a longer arm action, fastball sat 82-84 mph with natural run, mixing in a 69 mph breaker with depth and a 73 mph changeup showing fade. Showed flashes of command and ability to miss bats. Two-way prospect with present strength and tools to keep developing both behind the plate and on the mound.
