Simon Cuevas is a 2029 3B/2B, SS, IF, OF with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends Vineland Sr High-South. Compact, medium frame with some lower half strength and room to mature physically. Recorded a 9.37 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate actions into and throughout the fielding process. Displayed a clean funnel out in-front and showcased developing arm strength up to 55 mph during drills. Switch-hitter with a similar stance from both sides of the plate. Incorporates a toe-tap trigger for timing, rotational lower half movements to generate bat speed and some natural lift to his swing. Mostly middle-of-the field contact with hands driven swing and developing feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
