Dominick Mendoza is a 2028 OF/IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Hilltop High School. Started off the event clocking a 7.36 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary infielder. Shows athleticism and fluidity to and through the baseball in the outfield. His arm strength will develop nicely alongside his build. In the infield, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Throws are accurate across the diamond. Finds some OK carry on his throws as well. Glove work is crisp and shows softness to either side. At the plate, uses an open stance with a simple leg kick trigger. Quiet and simple load then throws his hands at the baseball. Employs a pull approach with good feel for the barrel overall.
