James Colella is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Woodbridge, ON. Young athletic build. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive through the ball and carries his momentum well into his throws, long arm action with a high release point, gets on top of his throws with on line carry and developing arm strength. On the mound works from a short delivery with good direction down the mound, works under control with a short arm action and a 3/4's arm slot, low effort mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball worked up to 71 mph with good arm side running life, gets inside to left handed hitters well, projectable fastball velocity. Showed lots of confidence in a big slow curveball, throws it early in counts and will double up on it, throws strikes with it and gets hitters out front.
