Tyler Priest is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Old Town, ME who attends Old Town. Large well filled frame. Primary pitcher with methodical in line delivery. Medium arm stroke with well repeated high three-quarters release. Loaded up the zone with the fastball, can challenge up the ladder, will challenge in as well. Solid carry to the fastball, plays fairly true. Curveball is soft with downward action, can find weak contact to the lower portion, sequences well. Flashed a sharp slider type offering with tight depth for a ground ball. Like the repeatability of the operation with advanced feel for the arsenal. Good stuff, really projects, polish over pure stuff but has the upside. In the infield, he tends to wait back to the fielding point but the hands funnel nicely at reception. Gets upright to throw but accurate across. Decent range but fits best at a corner. Right-handed hitter, medium base, and high back elbow. Getting off the swings on time and in rhythm.
