Christopher Gutierrez is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Features a taller frame with some present strength and projection. Ran a 7.43 60-yd dash. On the mound, side steps into an upper chest knee tuck. Works into a smaller sit, minimal lower-half engagement. Slight coil/turn-in o shoulders before working down the mound. Arm path is shorter in the back and works to a higher 3/4 slot with quality armspeed. FB worked up to 84, living low 80s where it had some natural running action. Mixed in a low 70s SL with more standard shape but flashed some bigger 10-4 sluvry shape at times. At 1B, showed quality actions. Showed ability to work through the baseball a bit and repeat movements. Solid glovework working to a clean/sure reception. Full turns on DPs working with a lot of steps into throws. Showed a compact arm that got off accurate throws with carry/strength across. At the plate, operates from a taller/even stance. Uses a medium lift into launch. Big time out front damage intent to the swing. Uphill barrel path with above avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Just strong and balanced turns of the barrel where he impacted it hard to the pull side.
