Tristan Chewning is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Jack Britt. Chewning ran a 7.73 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a large athletic frame with plenty of strength present throughout. Starting with a high above the belt leg lift while driving through the lower half well he creates some momentum down the slope coming from a longer stride. Working a long loose arm action coming straight over the top he creates some downhill angle on the fastball commanding it well in the zone with it peaking at 81mph. Mixing in a tight breaking ball with some late depth that sat in the lower 70s and a CH with late fading action to it. Secondary first base had solid actions around the base with a quick first step to the ball fielding it cleanly out in front with a quick glove to hand transfer. Full through the back with the arm action coming straight over the top with accuracy across the diamond. Right handed hitter with a wide set base and a small leg lift trigger. Hands rotate into set position at trigger while working with a linear path through the zone with a pull side approach. Tristan is a good student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
