James Hood is a 2010 C/OF with a 5'11'', 195 lb. frame from Holden, MO who attends Holden HS. Solid build, good present strength. Tall stance, aggressive swing with effort, has raw bat speedt, wants to pull/lift, ball jumps on contact, hitting tools/strength but may have to tone it down a bit. Low flexible set up defensively, athletic actions, still working on footwork consistency, 2.01 best pop. 7.25 runner. Athletic enough to improve in all areas. Good student, signed with Central Missouri.
