Deegan Deporte is a 2028 OF/INF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Willow Canyon HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.13 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary infielder. Shows athleticism and fluidity to and through the baseball in the outfield. His arm strength will develop nicely alongside his build. In the infield, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Throws are accurate across the diamond. Finds some good carry on his throws as well. Glove work is crisp and shows softness to either side. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple stride trigger. Quiet and simple load then throws his hands at the baseball. Middle of the field approach with good feel for the barrel overall. Good student.
