Lucas Lauter is a 2029 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Holmdel, NJ who attends Holmdel. Lean build with room to add significant strength as he matures. Ran an 8.35 in the 60. In the infield, showed coordinated actions with reliable hands, projecting best at second base currently, with throws across the diamond up to 68 mph. Quickness to the ball and accuracy were present, with developing arm strength that should improve with added physicality. Right-handed hitter with a narrow, slightly open stance, loose hands, and a line drive stroke, producing mostly ground ball contact at present with flashes of barrel feel. Projects for better bat-to-ball consistency and more impact as strength develops. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch with a shorter arm action and high three-quarters slot. Fastball sat 64-66 mph with arm-side run, complemented by a changeup at 57 mph and a curveball at 59 mph that showed 11-5 shape when executed.
