2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Duke Henrie is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Mountain View. Slender young build. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves well to the ball, very long arm action, tends to throw uphill, has more arm strength there if he was getting on top of the ball more consistently. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow upright stance with a low hand load, well timed stride into contact, line drive swing path that will get a bit downhill at contact at times, was on the barrel consistently with middle of the field contact, has a good feel how to hit just needs to get stronger and develop more bat speed. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a similar long over the top arm action and slot. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball that topped out at 76 mph, also threw a big soft 1/7 curveball, competed well on the mound. Good student.
