Jalen Jacob is a 2027 1B/3B with a 6-3 248 lb. frame from Maple, ON who attends St Joan of Arc. Extra big and strong build, especially in the upper half. Runs well for his size, 3.86 runner in the sixty. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread and open stance with a hanging front foot trigger, very aggressive and swinging with maximum bat speed and intent, looking to pull and drive the ball, top of the scale raw power if he can get to it consistently. Posted an exit velocity of 99 mph. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well around the bag, has a feel for making turns, quick transfers, has big raw arm strength and makes accurate throws while dropping his slot well, will be an asset on defense. Good student. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday) Top Prospect List.
