Hayden Rux is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hawley, MN who attends Hawley Secondary. Recorded a 7.93 second sixty-yard dash time. Solid medium size build. Left-handed pitcher works from a balanced and controllable delivery with a belt-high leg lift with a medium length stride. Three- quarter arm slot with some extension out front. Above average strike thrower. The fastball (2066 RPM) was 72-75 with slight arm-side run and moving it to both sides of the plate. Slider (1733 RPM) was mid-60s with sweep and moderate depth and was competitively around the zone. Changes speeds pretty well and missed barrels regularly. Has some pitch ability with traits to develop on the mound. Secondary first baseman with footwork straight to the baseball and fields it up the middle of the body and shuffles into throws from a higher slot. Compact release and accurate across the diamond with quiet footwork around the bag. Left-handed hitter starts from an even base and straight line stance with high hands and an even back elbow, utilizes a small toe lift trigger. Creates some separation with a level bat path to make contact to all fields. Intriguing player with upside. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
