Kellan Kennedy is a 2025 C/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Moline, IL who attends United Township High School. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty yard dash time. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Primary catcher on defense, has athletic actions and is quick out of his crouch, solid footwork in all regards, quick transfers throwing, made very accurate throws with developing arm strength, has the athleticism to continue improve defensively. Also worked out in the infield with similar athleticism, moved well laterally and stayed balanced putting himself in position to field cleanly, second base arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a long stride into contact, tends to recoil and get stuck on his back side, level swing path and stays on plane well, mostly mid field to opposite field contact but flashed the ability to turn and lift the ball on his pitch..Good student.
