Ford Mercer is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Episcopal. Bigger frame with some physicality and room to fill out. Ran a 7.31 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, easy actions to and through the ball, plays back on it some but clean glove work through, on line release and accurate throws. Pitches too, low slot release creates sink on the fastball. locates it well and shows a slider out of that slot. Left-handed hitter, simple swing with a good move into contact, able to adjust the barrel already to be on plane and turn over with intent, sprays the field with line drive contact and enough strength to work to both gaps when synced up.
