Sean Nicholas is a 2029 C/RHP, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, IF with a 5-7 121 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends . Compact, athletic frame with plenty of room and time to add strength and physically mature. Recorded a 7.96 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from lower stance with developing midline transfer and some ground gained. Works uphill into release, produced fairly accurate throws up to 57 mph during drills and will continue to improve with refinements mechanically and additional arm strength. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Fields out in-front from a wider base, shows some lateral range to either side and works into a lower arm slot to throw. Recorded developing arm strength up to 59 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits a wider base with a high hand set, high back elbow and forward stride into contact. Intent based stroke with upward swing path and some adjustability with the barrel. Middle and pullside contact mostly with best impact to the pullside, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Developing, young prospect with physical upside remaining.
