Rylan Day is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends American Leadership Academy. Features a slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Worked out at first base and in the outfield. Charges the ball hard in the outfield. Fields the ball cleanly consistently. Throws with a shorter arm action, reaching 70 mph during workouts. Showed a patient approach into the catchpoint at first base. Can create momentum through the catchpoint when feet are moving. Can make the routine play. Reached 72 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with an even base. Swings on a lofted path through the zone. More impact should come as more strength is added. Left-handed hitter. Uses a semi-windup delivery with drop and drive mechanics. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 66-70 mph. Pairs it with a developing curveball at 55-57 mph. Attacks the zone and can get efficient outs. Excellent student.
