Pitching
- Solid overall mechanics. Works on-line with home with a good length stride. Pushes a bit off the rubber instead of riding the slope. Block at landing can be a bit better and more firm for better transfer up the chain. Can probably move with some more pace.
- Arm action is clean in getting up on time and to release. Threw strikes and showed ability to land a slower/bigger curveball with upside due to spin.Young and just needs to develop armspeed.
Fielding
- OF - Showed a quick first step and an aggressive approach to the baseball. Some slight slow down into a deeper reception. Can work on catching the ball more out front.
- INF - Some rawer actions at SS. Choppier/heavy feet in his movements towards the baseball. Fields it clean but somewhat flatfooted which hurts momentum/direction towards 1st. Can work on heel-to-toe rhythm with feet.
- C - On throwdowns showed a quality exchange but had trouble working quick out the crouch and gaining ground. Can work on lower half athleticism. Throws were accurate.
Hitting
- Sits in a balanced stance where his hands load the barrel into a flatter launch. Easy toe tap trigger gives him some quality rhythm. Barrel works on a slight uphill path with average bat speed for his level. Trouble get the barrel out front with most contact being made late. Maybe getting to footplant earlier can help with that. I would also flatten out the swing a bit as the impact doesn't quite match the current bat path.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
