Josh Crowell is a 2028 RHP/UT with a 5-9 132 lb. frame from Monticello, IN who attends Twin Lakes. Crowell works from a lean build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '28 prospect. On the mound, commanded the zone well and released from a high 3/4 slot. Can work on replicating arm stroke on the breaker, currently registering at 1724 rpm. Did a nice job of messing with hitter's timings and recorded outs efficiently with FB up to 69 mph. From the IF, flashed refining footwork with projectable glove actions, topping out at 72 mph across the diamond. Offensively, started from an open base with contact oriented approach displayed. Intent to work all parts of field with barrel control improving in the future as strength in the hands develops. Ran a 8.21 sixty yard dash.
