Jax Sherman is a 2028 SS/OF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ. Sherman ran a 7.30 Sixty Yard Dash. Lean medium athletic build with some length and easy room for strength in the future. Primary Middle Infield With a quick first step laterally waiting back on the ball setting the glove early while receiving softly. Developing arm speed across the diamond with accurate throws to first. On the mound Sherman side steps into a mid chest leg lift. The stride is short landing inline with home plate. He comes from a higher slot with a medium length arm stroke through the backside. The football which sits in the mid 70s showed occasional late cut with feel to both sides of the plate. He mixed in a breaking ball in the upper 60s with some depth. Left handed hitter in the box with a narrow stance into a small toe tap trigger. He wraps the bat slightly around the head at trigger drive the ball hard on a line to the pull side.
