Evan Badal is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Flushing, MI who attends Flushing. Primary catcher from a knee down setup. Gains ground well through the plate with good projectable arm strength. Was mostly accurate to the right side of the bag. Recorded a 2.25 pop time. Also played infield setting up to the ball well. Works around the ball well and made throws with good accuracy. Was up to 74 from across the diamond. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot. Sidestep delivery with a leg raise. Lands open and works quickly. Fastball showed good ASR to it and was located well throwing strikes. Flashed a slider that he is developing feel for. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open base. Uses the entire field well. Big leg raise for timing and rhythm. Gets the foot down on time. Good Student.
