Aaden Sergio is a 2029 3B/RHP/C with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Burlington, WI who attends Burlington. Young, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to develop moving forward. Ran a 9.18 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shorter steps on the move with some lateral agility, fields the ball out front, short arm stroke through the back working to a higher release point, shows accuracy across the diamond with developing arm strength and carry. Young actions behind the plate, side turn set up in drills, stays high in actions and thru release, lower transfer into throws down to second base. Also pitched, full windup on the mound, delivery mechanics with a similar high three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, mostly true in life, confidence in 11-5 shaped curveball with depth up to 59 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box, utilizes a leg lift trigger moving into contact. Linear stroke through the zone with extension out front at the point of contact. Line drive carry when squared, makings of hand speed in swing with some barrel accuracy, comfort working to the pull side. Excellent student.
