Zachary Burch is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lincoln. Smaller young athletic build with lots of growing head of him, 6.97 runner in the sixty/4.84 in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense who also has potential in the middle infield. Has quick twitch actions in the outfield, fielded the ball cleanly and made accurate on-line throws with good accuracy. Graded out the same in the infield using his lower half quickness to his advantage, arm played well on the dirt. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up more open from the right side, has a hanging leg raise load from both sides, more strength in his hands at present from the right side with a line drive swing plane. Took a turn on the mound, has a full arm circle to a high 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front, good arm speed coming through. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with heavy running action. Slurvy breaking ball was a good pitch with some sharpness and good power. Should improve in all areas as he gets stronger. Excellent student. Named to the PG Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
