Nate Thomas is a 2029 RHP/IF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Buckfield, ME who attends Buckfield. Long and lean young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Works from the third base side of the rubber with a belt high leg raise delivery, upper body delivery with minimal lower half drive down the mound, very extended arm action. Fastball was in the upper 60's and mostly straight. Tended to slow his mechanics on a change up and curveball. 7.63 runner in the sixty. Secondary infielder on defense, has some first step quickness to the ball, tends to get his glove down late, similar longer arm action with developing ability to change his arm slot, third base projection. Right handed hitter, sets up in a tall stance with limited lower half shift into contact, upper body rotational swing, occasional mid field line drive contact.
