Ethan Miles is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Hopkinsville, KY who attends Heritage Christian Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with a small side-step into a belt high leg lift. Displayed good lower half engagement and direction down the slope, working into a lower three-quarters arm slot. Fastball worked up to 80 mph with life through the zone and good command to all four quadrants . Maintained the upper-70s for the majority of his outing, attack mentality with feel for slurve shaped breaking ball and well-replicated changeup with slight fade to it. Will continue to enhance repertoire with continued refinement and additional velocity. Secondary outfielder with deliberate pace to his actions into the fielding process. Fields out in-front, gathers cleanly and maintains some momentum into release. Produced arm strength up to 77 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly closed stance with a high, deep hand set and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics, tendency to block front side inhibits extension and leverage but flashed present bat speed. Showed looseness to his hands and some feel for the barrel that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect List.
