Porter Ingle is a 2030 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ellenboro, NC. A physical and athletic frame with a medium build. Present strength and projection throughout. Ran a 7.86 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a feel for the glove work at shortstop. Moved around the position well, with good range to the backhand, and feel to get the ball out quickly, working across the diamond. He threw 74 mph across the diamond during his round, with some carry to it. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, tight hands, and a toe-tap trigger. He had an even setup, with some physicality in the swing. He showed strength in his hands and was able to produce hard-hit contact throughout his round of BP swings. He worked to the middle of the field mostly, with a good approach shown. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, with a full wind-up, sidestep delivery, and a belt-high leg lift, with slight coil. He creates length down the mound, landing in line and over the front side. He has a clean and repeatable operation on the mound. He works from a higher-three-quarters arm slot with a medium arm action. The fastball worked up to 71 mph with some arm-side run. He has a curveball and slider in the mix as well, with developing shape and depth. The curve flashes an 11-5 shape, while the slider has more lateral depth to it.
