Maddax Connely is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 178 lb. frame from Holmen, WI who attends Holmen. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age. Has a clean delivery on the mound with a short and compact arm action and a 3/4's release slot, loose out front and stays on top of the ball well, not much lower half drive at present. Fastball topped out at 72 mph with nice run and sink. Curveball showed big 1/7 depth at times, killed the spin well on the change up with good deception. Good bet to keep improving as he matures. Right handed hitter, starts from a slightly open stance with a leg raise trigger, high hand load, short swing with a pull side approach, gets downhill at times. 7.67 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound and showed good athleticism with soft hands fielding the ball. Excellent student.
