Brody Brown is a 2028 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Mountain Home, AR who attends Mountain Home. Big and strong young build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 4.82 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good fundamental footwork and fields the ball cleanly out front, good lateral agility and works efficient angles through the ball, gets downhill on his throws from nice young carry on his throws. Also worked out in the outfield, is aggressive moving through the ball and carries his momentum through the ball, arm works well and gets on top of his throws with a quick release, solid at both positions. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up similar from both sides of the plate, slightly open with a toe time close, still hand start, showed better barrel feel and bat speed from the left side with a direct swing path and pull side line drive contact and consistent timing, more downhill from the right side and will get out front at times. Took a turn on the mound, works from a belt high delivery with a medium stride down the mound and a clean high 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting life. Slider was a good pitch with feel for locating and late horizontal break. Flashed a developing change up. Has potential on the mound as a two-way prospect. Excellent student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
