Jacob Roeske is a 2028 RHP/C/IF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Manassas, VA who attends Charles J. Colgan Sr.. Recorded a 7.68 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a super lean build. Primary right-handed pitcher works from a waist-level leg lift with a slightly closed landing. Medium length arm action with a high three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (1657 RPM) was 68-71 with moderate arm-side run. Was able to land the low-60s curveball (1894 RPM) with comfort. The curveball sharpened as his outing went on and he was able to compete in the strike zone. Pitched to contact. Secondary catcher with one-hop throws and solid accuracy. Needs to gain more ground on transfer and widen his base. Also worked out in the infield. that fielded everything cleanly with accuracy to the arm. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium stance with even feet, utilizes a leg lift trigger. High to low hands with a downhill to linear bat path. Finding the barrel with developing strength and a middle-of-the-field approach. Intriguing player with upside.
