Rhett Lamovec is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Greenwood, WI who attends Loyal. Large, high-waisted build with long levers and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the middle of the rubber with a leg lift just above the belt. Separates the hands at the chin and into a deeper arm path. Creates clean extension before releasing the baseball from a low three-quarters slot. Works directly over his front-side and gets his back-side through smoothly. Fastball showed short arm-side run with some natural sink, topping out at 83 mph. Mixed in a curveball with some tilt and late depth as well as a fading changeup to mistime hitters. Showed feel for his entire mix and held velocity throughout the duration of his outing. Offers plenty of upside from a physicality and velocity standpoint. Secondary third baseman, worked through the baseball at a deliberate pace and fielded it with soft hands. Displayed developing lateral range and athleticism in the dirt. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 78 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with loose hands. Utilizes a quick toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with plenty of present quickness in the hands. Attempts to generate carry at impact with leverage to all fields. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 7.43 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2024 Midwest Uncommitted Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
