Griffin Prybil is a 2029 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Pleasant Valley. Long and lean young build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open base, has a well-timed leg raise trigger into his swing, direct swing that is short to the ball with extension through contact, aggressive swing approach, went gap to gap with line drives mostly, nice hitting mechanics to build on as he gets stronger. 7.76 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works through the ball well, plays under control, made accurate throws, solid fundamentals that he executed well, some arm strength his age with more to come. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard side step/leg raise delivery, high hands at head level, long and loose arm action to a 3/4's slot, will drop to low 3/4's at times, slow to fast overall mechanics. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with good life from both slots. Curveball was a good pitch with feel for changing the shape and throwing to spots, had an efficient outing on the mound. Good bet to keep improving in all areas.
