David Guillen is a 2027 OF/SS with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Northgate. Medium frame with present strength throughout. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, medium base with even feet and a high back elbow in the stance, torques the barrel hard and coils the hands. Short and direct path with ability to impact the baseball to the middle of the field consistently, strength plays nicely when extended. Going to tap into it more in the coming years. Primary outfielder, fundamentally sound footwork working to the baseball, breaks down and fields with one hand on the side of the frame, works through it well. Short arm action and gets the ball out quick, solid arm strength recording throws up to 74 mph with accuracy. Secondary middle infielder, works best to his left and showed confidence fielding the backhand, developing footwork getting around the baseball, can change slots and recorded throws up to 73 mph. Excellent student.
