Giovanni Quattrini is a 2027 RHP/1B/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Greenville, RI. Medium athletic build with some physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.84 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with short, deliberate side-step into balance and medium stride length down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-60s for the majority of his outing with occasional cut to it and topped out at 67 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in a slower, developing breaking ball with a varying spin profile and gradual depth to it. Will continue to improve with more velocity and mechanical adjustments. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate footwork to range laterally into the fielding position. Used a deeper funnel to field, worked through the baseball with a deliberate pace and produced arm strength up to 67 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a high, tight hand set and big leg lift trigger. Whole field approach with some barrel skills and developing bat speed. Displayed consistent timing with the barrel, got on-plane and stayed behind the baseball effectively. Will continue to improve with additional strength and proper swing adjustments. Good Student.
