Anthony Montelone is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11, 165 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, SC who attends Wando High School. Strong, athletic frame with room to add more muscle. He is a 7.17 runner in the sixty. In the infield, he shows a firm glove and a strong throwing arm from a high over-the-top slot. Charges the ball under control and can make plays with carry across the diamond. In the box, the right-handed hitter has a wide, balanced setup and a quick leg lift trigger. Shows the ability to get the barrel out front with some present strength at contact, especially to the pull side. When staying through the middle of the field, produces firm line drives with carry. He showed some gap-to-gap potential and the bat speed to keep developing as strength comes. Excellent student with a 4.6 GPA.
