Donavan Thompson is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-10 174 lb. frame from Erie, PA. Thompson works from an athletic and well built frame with strength present throughout. Primary OF, showcased a full fluid arm action with good carry out of the hand. Took direct routes to the baseball and produced accurate throws around the bag. Ultimately topped out at 80 mph. On the mound, ran his FB up to 82 mph working from up tempo operation. Released from consistent 3/4 slot with good extension down the slope. Developing spin in arsenal, SL registered at 1821 rpm. Offensively, started from an even base with short stride into impact. Good intent behind stroke with pull side impact when timed up. Barrel control has room to refine. Posted an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.10 sixty yard dash. Good student.
