2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Ryan Halfmann is a 2026 C/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sherwood, WI, who attends Kimberly. A taller frame and stance with a lean build. Room to keep filling out moving forward. Primary catcher, who works from a left-knee down stance and then gains ground working through the throwing motion. He has athleticism with a good transfer, and he has on-line throws around the bag. Threw 74 mph and produced 1.91 pop time with plenty of feel to move out of the crouch. Had some quickness and projectable actions. A right-handed hitter with a medium leg lift trigger and some feel to work through the baseball. He had some decent hand speed and was able to get the barrel behind it and work slightly uphill to drive the baseball. He was on the barrel a good bit and showed hard turns working through it. He was able to impact well and produced hard-hit balls all over the field. Took a good round of BP. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Great student.
